Digital Media Specialist - North Phoenix, AZ

Summary The Digital Media Specialist will have extensive experience in media planning and buying with day to day responsibilities of purchasing, optimizing and reporting across the paid platforms. This individual must have both qualitative and quantitative skills to help tell the media story across multiple platforms, datasets and provide actionable reporting and measurable ROI.

This individual will work closely with the Director of Media and Member Experience to execute the day to day responsibilities associated with digital (and some traditional) media buys, digital campaign management, and marketing automation initiatives. Occasional assistance and coordination will be needed to help execute website, email, and social media updates.

The Digital Media Specialist will help support and drive key metrics such as:

* ROI on Media Budget

* New Member Acquisition

* Conversion Rate

* Campaign and Website Performance

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the media industry including digital, video, social, radio, and out of home.

  • Manage digital and traditional media strategies along with audience personas, utilizing market research and existing member profiles.

  • Responsible for executing the day to day digital media planning and buying in Google Ads, including Search Ads, Display Ads, Video Ads, App Ads, Local Ads.

  • Execute A/B testing to enhance media placements, creative execution and landing page engagement.

  • Responsible for ongoing optimization to generate ongoing qualified leads with the goal of new member growth and retention.

  • Assist with website content updates, email updates, social media updates as well as reporting on these platforms.

  • Assist with ongoing media measurement, performance and reporting while improving campaign and media performance.

  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end member experience across multiple channels and member touch points.

  • Assist with agencies partnership for strategy, creative, messaging and media execution.

  • Proactively evaluate emerging media, digital and web technologies.

  • Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses

  • Develop an understanding of Credit Union philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures and comply with the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, AML, OFAC and all other applicable State and Federal Financial Institution Regulations.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 4-6 years of digital media buying experience or the equivalent in job-relevant work experience

  • Certified in Google Analytics and Google AdWords

  • Working knowledge of website content management systems (Umbraco), email platforms, marketing automation platforms.

  • Strong analytical and reporting experience with strong attention to details

  • Focused and results-oriented, driving to meet and exceed targets.

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Excel, Additional Media and Reporting Platforms.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at once
