Technical Writing Intern (Policy/Procedure) Education & Learning

SUMMARY

Aids in the development, writing, and editing of instructional materials for operational use by CU Associates. Materials include user manuals, work instructions, help guides, job aids, and other technical and administrative publications delivered in print or by electronic media. Support the transition to Zavanta by maintaining and assigning documents within the system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. ·

  • Help review, write, or edit operational materials
  • Support maintenance of documents
  • Help design, develop, and produce various materials
  • Job aids, infographics, etc
  • Explain complex processes with simple and concise language and graphics
  • PROJECT: Converting from Google Search to Zavanta to house supplemental materials.


QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Junior or senior, majoring in Writing, Graphic Design, or Education
  • 3.0 GPA in major field of study
  • Experience with: Microsoft Office Suite, Google, Vengage, Adobe Photoshop, other graphic development software.
